OVERVIEW
Custom PC/ABS camera housing produced by single-shot injection molding with a high-gloss surface finish. Designed for camera bodies, lens surrounds, mounting enclosures, and consumer imaging device shells, this part combines the heat resistance and strength of PC with the toughness and moldability of ABS. The glossy A-surface delivers a premium appearance, while internal features support precise assembly of lenses, brackets, PCBs, and fasteners.

PROCESS NOTE
PC/ABS requires proper drying before molding to avoid splay and surface defects. High-gloss finishes demand well-polished mold cavities, controlled melt and mold temperatures, and optimized packing to minimize sinks and warp. Gate location is carefully selected to keep weld lines away from prominent glossy surfaces and critical lens openings.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Visual inspection for gloss uniformity, scratches, flow marks, sink marks, and flash. Dimensional check of lens openings, mounting holes, and overall flatness. Fit-check with mating lens, bracket, or PCB components available. FAIR / CMM inspection on request.
