OVERVIEW
Custom single-shot injection molded light guide component made from optically clear PC. This is a high-transparency / non-diffusive optical part designed to transmit and direct light with minimal distortion, haze, or loss. The mold surfaces are highly polished to support clean light paths and a clear appearance, making the part suitable for LED indicators, illumination modules, display lighting, and precision optical assemblies.

PROCESS NOTE
Clear PC must be properly dried before molding to avoid splay, silver streaks, and clarity loss. High-polish cavities require careful gate placement and process control to keep weld lines, flow marks, and stress lines away from critical optical surfaces. Melt and mold temperatures are optimized to preserve transparency and reduce internal haze.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Visual inspection under light for haze, scratches, flow marks, bubbles, and clarity. Backlit or transmission check for light path performance. Dimensional verification of optical surfaces and mounting features. CMM / FAIR inspection available on request.
