OVERVIEW Custom large-size dual-shot / two-shot injection molded PC housing and optical cover component. The part is produced as a bigger-format 2K mold project using PC material, with SS136 mold steel to support high polishing, dimensional stability, and longer production life. Suitable for transparent/colored optical housings, lamp covers, tail-light style enclosures, and complex multi-zone plastic shells that require different optical or structural performance in one integrated part. Gate and parting-line placement are optimized to keep defects away from critical optical/visible surfaces. For tinted or red PC zones, color consistency and light-transmission uniformity are closely monitored. QUALITY ASSURANCE Visual inspection for clarity, color consistency, scratches, flash, short shots, sink marks, and weld/flow lines. Optical/light-transmission check where applicable. Dimensional and flatness verification for mounting and sealing interfaces. CMM / FAIR inspection available on request.
