Insert Injection Molding with Automatic Insert Feeding | ±0.05mm Tolerance
This video demonstrates our insert injection molding process using an automatic insert feeding system. Metal or non-metal inserts (such as threaded bushings, pins, contacts, or electrical terminals) are automatically picked, positioned, and overmolded with thermoplastic material in a single cycle — eliminating manual placement and ensuring consistent part quality.
What the footage captures:
• Automatic bowl feeder / vibratory feeder orienting inserts
• Robotic pick-and-place or pneumatic shuttle transferring inserts into the mold
• Precision alignment of inserts within the mold cavity
• Injection of ABS, PC, PA (Nylon), or other engineering plastics over the inserts
• Cooling and ejection of fully encapsulated or partially exposed insert-molded parts
• In-line inspection and part collection
